You have met Seth, Stephen, have seen my husband Jerry (who has his own blog HERE), have caught a glimpse of my granddoggy Coco...but you've yet to meet my wonderful daughter Amy. Today is quite fitting for an intro because Amy's husband is deployed in Afghanistan.
Recently I wanted to do something nice for my daughter. She and I had attempted to make some scrubs for her awhile back, but we got stuck on the sleeves. This past week my sister, of Heathers Custom Sewing came over and taught me how to read a pattern and sew on those pesky sleeves! I think the scrubs turned out so pretty! (But not as pretty as my 'little' girl)
I enjoyed making them so much, I plan on making more styles. (someday)
Here are a couple of Amy style reminders to leave you with for this Memorial Day...
Kind of puts the days end into perspective...God bless your family!
ReplyDeleteIt looks great on her! I'm so glad they fit! I really like that cross-over shirt style & you should definately make more of those to sell. Amy, if you're reading this, you need more pictures of you! You're a pretty girl & perfect the way you are! ;) (Aunt) Heather
